AT 2250 HOURS STATION 1900 WAS DISPATCHED FOR A RESIDENTIAL STRUCTURE FIRE ON 14TH ST. THE ENTIRE ELLWOOD AREA MUTUAL AID SYSTEM WAS DISPATCHED TO ASSIST. 2211 ARRIVED ON SCENE & ADVISED OF A WORKING STRUCTURE FIRE.

INITALY, NEIGHBORS REPORTED THE HOUSE BEING OCCUPIED BUT WAS LATER FOUND TO BE EMPTY. INTERIOR OPPERATIONS WERE INITALY IMPEADED DUE TO HOLES IN THE FIRST & SECOND FLOORS DUE TO THE HEAVY FIRE.

THE AREA DEPARTMENTS WERE ON SCENE SEVERAL HOURS. THE CAUSE IS STILL UNDER INVESTIGATION.

     AT APPROXIMATELY 0045 HOURS ON TUESDAY APRIL 21, 2009 ST2300 WAS CALLED TO 601 HAZEL AVE FOR A POSSIBLE STRUCTURE FIRE. POLICE ARRIVING ON SCENE ADVISED A WORKING FIRE IN THE KITCHEN. ENGINE 2301 ARRIVED & ADVISED A FULLY INVOLVED STRUCTURE FIRE. THE FIRE WAS QUICKLY KNOCKED DOWN WITH NO INJURIES. ST2300 WAS ASSISTED BY 1800, 1900, 2200, 70, 8200 & 58.
